Zink Calls Announces Spring Turkey Hunting Video

The Spring of 2008 opened a new door for the Ohio-based outdoor company, Zink Calls, as two of the nation's best turkey callers - Shane Hendershot, and Josh Grossenbacher - took their first steps into the world of turkey hunting videography. Joined by Zink Videographer, Walt Gabbard, the team captured more than 25 successful hunts on video, including outings in Tennessee, Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, South Carolina, California, and Ontario, Canada.

"While we all share a passion for calling and hunting gobblers," said Gabbard, "none of us had any experience in filming these extremely wary big game birds. We did, however, have video experience in the waterfowl arena, so we simply incorporated that knowledge into our attempts in the Spring woods. I have to admit," he continued, "our first few weeks were rough."

Turkey hunting enthusiasts will be able to get their first taste of Team Zink's inaugural bout of homage to the King of Spring within the next few months, via the Zink Calls website. A release date for the video is currently uncertain; however, a release is anticipated some time in the Winter of '08.
