Culley Wilson
Culley Wilson was born and raised in Texas. His father, being a professional bass fisherman, introduced him to the outdoors at a very early age. It was when he was a young teenager that his passion for outdoors began. Growing up in a one buck county of Texas he quickly took to waterfowl hunting to fill the remainder of the hunting season. The first green head he killed might as well have been a snake bite. It was left untreated and very quickly filled his whole body.

Living between the Central and Mississippi flyways in East Texas, there was an abundance of waterfowl to hunt, mostly puddle ducks. When he moved to NC in 1999 he became frustrated by the lack of ducks in the Piedmont area of the state. To harvest a limit of puddle ducks was truly an accomplishment. So, he taught himself how to hunt Canada Geese being there was good resident population as well as good migration of Canada Geese. After trial and error, he honed his skills and was fast becoming a seasoned goose hunter. His friends eventually talked him into guiding and Wild Wing Adventures was born. Today Wild Wing Adventures runs guided hunting trips for black bear, waterfowl, and turkey.

Besides guiding, Culley enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa and their two children Sophia and Haiden. Traveling the East Coast from PA to GA with his job allows him to create hunting memories and new friends with clients in many diverse locations and hunting scenarios. He credits trips to the field hunting geese in MD and DE with customers as a very instrumental part of his becoming a successful goose hunter. With his hunting experiences in many different areas of the Atlantic Flyway, Culley brings some good insight to varying hunting methods that are successful from one place to the next along the Atlantic Flyway from hunting Tundra Swans in the wheat to puddle ducks in the black water swamps Down East. This insight and experience from a wide range of hunting scenarios makes Culley an ideal teammate for the Zink Calls team.
