Dave was introduced to hunting at age 13 when a friend took him out in September for a Goose hunt. After hearing the sounds, seeing the action and enjoying the outdoors, Dave has been hooked ever since. Being in the field that evening was the start of a long-term passion that has been a huge part of Dave's life. Being able to call and fool geese into the decoy spread is Dave's favorite challenge.

Dave's go-to calls are the Power Maximus and the XR2. Dave now brings over 10 years of waterfowl experience to Zink Calls. He also enjoys getting involved with contest calling. In his first year of contest calling, he placed top 5 in the competitions he was a part of and finished 2nd in the PA state Goose Calling Competition.

In the spring time you can find Dave in the turkey woods hunting the elusive long beard. Dave loves to hunt PA, NY and VA for the big Tom's. Waterfowl and turkey hunting both offer challenges and experiences that are unmatched by any other type of hunting. They also promote a deep sense of family tradition and camaraderie with fellow hunters. Dave and his wife, Brielle, both live in Spring City, PA. After college, Dave was offered a position playing professional basketball in Germany. At the same time, Dave and Brielle were offered a position to work at a kids camp called Camp Sankanac. At Sankanac, Dave would have the opportunity to hunt and use his knowledge and passion to reach out to other hunters and kids. Although Dave loves the game of basketball, there's nothing like the hunting lifestyle! His experience at Camp Sankanac pushed him to develop a hunting program called The Call Outdoors. He and 3 close friends have established The Call Outdoors and have given Waterfowl and Turkey hunting seminars, hosted hunting events at Camp Sankanac during the year and have introduced waterfowl and turkey hunting to many kids during the summer. We use and promote Zink calls because they are the easiest calls to blow and they are the most realistic sounding calls on the market.
