David Rearick
David Rearick was born and raised in the rolling hills of western Pennsylvania. He grew up hunting wood ducks, mallards, and geese in the swamps and backwaters across the western portion of the state. While times and hunting tactics have changed over the course of his hunting career, he still hunts and travels to these same areas year in and year out chasing both ducks and geese from Sept 1st till the season end.  

David currently lives in the town of Butler Pa with his exceptionally supportive understanding wife Melissa and new son and future waterfowler Colton. David says there is no off season and spends the summer months scouting, preparing his gear, and planning the next seasons hunts and trips. He also enjoys working evens for both Avery Outdoors and Zink Calls, as well giving seminars sharing some of his knowledge to other members of the waterfowling community. In the fall, he travels across state lines and across Pennsylvania following the migration and hunts as many days as possible, even if only a few hours before heading into work, as making the most of the time he has is something he feels is key to success. While he enjoys a successful hunt himself, he also tries to introduce new hunters both young and old to the sport every year. He also cherishes the times spent afield when his father is able to make it out with him, and hopes to pass the values his father instilled into him at a young age on to his son Colt over the next few years. To him, waterfowl hunting isn't just a hobby, it is his passion and making a part of everyday is something he feels is what makes him who he is today.
