Ron Parker, an avid outdoorsman, has been guiding waterfowl hunts for over twenty-five years. Born and raised in Southern Maryland, waterfowl hunting has always been part of his life. At an early age, Ron's father introduced him to hunting, receiving his first gun, a 410 shot gun, at age 6.
As a young adult, Ron hunted geese on the Eastern Shores with family and friends. Ron enlisted in the U.S. Army at age 19 and his father gave him a professionally guided goose hunt as a going away present. Ron was fascinated by the sounds coming from the guides who were using tube goose calls.
After serving a tour of duty from 1983 through 1986 with the 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii, Ron returned home and became heavily involved in waterfowl hunting. Ron currently serves as Chairman of the Ducks Unlimited Charles County Chapter.
Ron is passionate about youth hunting and established annual junior guided goose and turkey hunts so young adults can experience the great outdoors. Ron resides in La Plata, Maryland with his wife, Christine and two labs, Zeus and Teal. Ron enjoys any opportunity to hunt and fish with his four sons, Ryan, Cole, Aaron and Adam.
