Philippe Marchand
Born in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Philippe has been actively hunting waterfowl for 15 years now. He comes from a family with a rich tradition for the sport. His grandfather, Sylva, dedicated his entire life hunting and fishing the St-Lawrence River. He passed his craft to Philippe's father, René, who passed it along to his two sons. The family's prime value is respect for the animals whether it's before or after the kill.
Philippe got started hunting dabbler ducks in the marshes that border the St-Lawrence river. Along the way, he graduated up to field setups and also to other species such as the Canada Goose and the Greater Snow Goose.
The DX Team noticed Philippe's talent and deep understanding of the sport when they hunted together a couple of times in 2010. This certainly deserved him an invitation to become part of the team and Philippe proudly accepted. To him, becoming a DX team member solidify years of hard work and determination.
Philippe has the most profound respect for Zink Calls and is very proud of representing them as a pro staff.
