Bill Hawk

Bill was raised in DeWitt, MI and was introduced to the outdoors at a very young age. He and his dad spent a lot of time in the woods or on the lake. In his earlier years he focused his hunting mostly on small game and deer. Bill was turned on to waterfowling about 18 years ago and was instantly hooked.

In 2002 Bill took his passion for waterfowling to the next level and started his personal guide service. Whether out in the field or at his annual Gander Mountain seminar he always enjoys helping fellow hunters learn new tactics in decoy set up and calling. He has traveled to North Dakota, Missouri, Ohio and through out Michigan in pursuit of ducks and geese.

Bill is married to his wife, Heather and they have one daughter, Ryann. His passion for waterfowling is instilled in his daughter. She loves practicing her calling and going hunting with her dad.

In 2006 Bill decided to take a shot at competition calling and entered the 2 Man Duck contest at the Saginaw Bay Waterfowl show where he took 2nd place. He and his partner, Kile Jones went on to take 1st place in the 2 Man Duck at Saginaw Bay in 2007. Bill also took 1st place in the Single Man and 2 Man Duck and 2nd place in the Novice Goose contest at the 2007 Gander Mountain show.

Bill is honored to be part of the Zink Calls Pro Staff and is looking forward to putting his knowledge of waterfowling to good use with the support of such a reputable company.
