Shawn Waters

Shawn is 30 years old and lives in the small town of Shade Gap, nestled in the mountains of South Central PA. He began his love of hunting at a young age while heading to the woods with his father. Shawn's passion for hunting has led him to hunt turkeys, whitetail deer, and trap predators in Pennsylvania, Mississippi, Wyoming, West Virginia, Illinois, and Ohio. Harvesting his first whitetail at the age of 12 and first turkey at the age of 13 sparked his passion for hunting that has never faded.

Shawn began competition calling 3 years ago and has earned several top 5 finishes at the amateur level. He introduced his 5 year old son, Easton, to competition calling as well. Being introduced to Zink calls at competitions and having the opportunity to talk with their knowledgeable staff proved to Shawn that Zink was a company he wanted to become affiliated with. Their quality workmanship and passion to become a leading call maker makes Shawn proud to be a new member of their field staff.

The highlights of his hunting seasons are guiding youth and adult hunters and making memories in the field with family and friends.
