I grew up in a small town north of Spokane, Washington called 9 Mile Falls. In the summer you can find me either on the lake fishing, scouting for white tails for archery season, if it's Sunday, there is a pretty good chance I'm in church or on the field working with kids and coaching baseball. I was blessed to play 4 years of college baseball and fell short in the end of filling my long term goal, but an unreached goal made the opportunity to chase my biggest dream!
I first got into the blind as well as the outdoors with my dad at age 4 and have been chasing ducks and geese ever since, he knew that he had a good hunting partner a brewing because he couldn't even sneak out of the house without me asking if I could go. He is the reason I'm the outdoorsman I am. I started off shooting his duck and goose decoys with my BB gun and got so good that I started sinking his decoys so he figured that I better get a hunting license at age 9.
About age 13 I was introduced to Fred Zink and "Zink outdoors", while watching a whistling wings video, and I aspired to kill geese like Fred did. Now 10 years later my dad says that the student has become the master. It doesn't matter if I'm laying face down in the mud in a wheat stubble field or running down the river in the heart of winter and it's 20 below and blowing snow, whatever it takes to get birds in the bag that's what I was born to do. I like to spend time in the outdoors every chance I get; I don't really care as long as I'm in the woods. I enjoy chasing long beards in the spring and also catching a fish every now and then. I'm honored to represent Zink calls and the great company that it is.
Great day to be alive Genisis 1:28.
