Dwayne Padgett
Dwayne was born in San Antonio, Texas but grew up in the Low Country of South Carolina. He was introduced to hunting at a young age by his father and took his first duck at seven in the famed Sparkleberry Swamp of the Santee Cooper Lakes. Today at 43 years old he still enjoys hunting duck in these same areas as well as the many tidal rivers along the Carolina coast. In the 80's Dwayne was active in competition calling, and has placed in a few state and regional contest. His most resent win was a 2 man meat calling contest at the Sportsman's Warehouse in South Carolina 2007, which he used a Zink PH-2.

He's also an avid bow hunter for deer and turkey in the South's hardwood bottoms and pine hills.

Dwayne and his dog Skyler spend a lot of time on the road during the season but during the off season spend a lot of time training and running both UKC and AKC hunt test and trials in order to stay tuned up for the coming season.

After more than three decades hunting ducks and geese Dwayne's travels have taken him to 12-plus states, along with Canada and Mexico. Along the way he has met a lot of people and made life-long friends.
