Jeff Nemecek
Jeff Nemecek is 25 years old and was born and raised in Port Clinton, Ohio. Just a few miles from Port Clinton is the oldest duck hunting club in North America, the Winous Point Shooting Club (chartered in 1856). Jeff has been a guide, or Punter, there since the 2004 season. Every Saturday afternoon since he was 8, Jeff and his dad, Scott, have hunted the Winous marshes. Jeff feels extremely privileged to be a part of the history and hunting tradition at Winous Point.

Jeff has known Fred Zink for over 10 years. He first met Fred at the Ohio Decoy Collectors and Carvers Association (ODCCA) decoy show in Westlake, Ohio. There, he learned from the best on how to call Canadas. Ever since then, Jeff has been convinced that Zink Calls are the best waterfowl calls ever made.

The 2004 and 2005 duck seasons allowed Jeff the privilege to venture to the "Duck Factory" of South Dakota. Calling in Greenheads in the morning fog over a prairie cattail marsh is what he considers the ultimate duck hunting experience. While there, he also enjoyed the World Class pheasant hunting South Dakota is known for.

During the waterfowl season, Jeff guides and hunts the Sandusky Bay when the opportunity happens. His Smoke XR-2 seduces many Mallards, Blacks, and Pintails to their demise. When the marshes freeze over, Jeff hits the cornfields to goose hunt. With a KW-1 Power Hunter, GHG FFD Lessers, and his Little Man goose call, Jeff can't get enough of harvesting Canadas.

In 2007, Jeff graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). GIS is computer-based and involves aerial and satellite imagery, mapping, and analysis.

Today, Jeff lives and works in Wooster, Ohio with his fiancee, Whitney, and his little girl, Bella. There he works as a GIS Technician at TechniGraphics, Inc., where he creates GIS databases using high-resolution imagery. As a side job, Jeff enjoys designing websites, graphics, and other designs using Adobe Creative Suite 3, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.

Jeff feels very fortunate that Zink Calls is in his hometown of Port Clinton. It's nice to know that he can visit the shop anytime and feel welcome. Zink Calls is a top-class operation and makes the best calls in the world.
