Luke Nagel is 26 years old and resides in Franklin, Pa with his wife Melissa. His uncle introduced him to hunting when he was 6 and it has evolved into a passion that intensifies with every season. He grew up hunting small game, deer, and turkeys. He was introduced to waterfowl hunting, at the age of 15, by a good friend and quickly became addicted. After high school Luke joined the PA Army National Guard, served for 6 years and earned the rank of Sergeant. He has pursued waterfowl from Pennsylvania to North Dakota. While waterfowl hunting is his true passion he still loves chasing long beards in the spring and archery hunting. Introducing youth to hunting is an exciting aspect of hunting. He has had the opportunity to introduce his cousins to hunting much like his uncle did for him. He has helped two of his cousins harvest their first gobblers, whitetail buck, ducks, and geese. He enjoys helping out with youth hunts and encouraging the young hunters to get involved in the sport. Tank, his yellow lab, also shares the same hunting obsession and Luke enjoys working with him in the field. Tank has participated in AKC and UKC hunt tests.
When he is not hunting he is working as an employee of First Energy in the Substation Department. Working outside and traveling on a daily basis gives him the opportunity to be on the look out for whatever is in season. This has given Luke the opportunity to hunt successfully across the state of PA. He really enjoys sharing stories and tips with his fellow outdoors-men. He has a lanyard and turkey vest full of Zink Calls and feels that they truly are the best on the market. Luke looks forward to pursuing more opportunities and introducing new outdoors-men to the great sport while promoting Zink Calls and Avian-X Decoys.
