Johnny Miller
Johnny was born and raised in Penrose, Colorado, where hunting an fishing was a way of life. At the age of five Johnny would go with his father scouting an hunting. His father told him having the right field was half the battle as they sat on the cross roads waiting for the geese to feed out. Being a member of the Two Shot goose club in Lamar and Eads Colorado, Johnny's father was avid waterfowler. So over the years of watching and learning Johnny became hooked. Johnny is also an avid Big Game hunter and Guide. for two months a year he heads to the mountains to chase Elk and Muleies. He has had the opportunity to harvest some great animals the last couple of years with his clients working for J&J Guide, and also learn about these great animals and there cycles they go threw and there habits. Johnny also has been Guiding Duck, Goose, and Turkey hunts in West Texas for the last two years.
He started working for Stanfield Hunting Outfitters in the fall of 2005. He worked with and became very good friends with some of the best waterfowlers in the business. The last two years of learning and hunting every day of the past two hunting season Johnny and his clients were very productive in the field. Johnny has recently turned over a new page in his life as his hunt career keeps rolling and is going to guide for a new growing guide service in Texas this year. Black Foot Guide service. He hopes he can take his experience and personality that will allow him to learn more each day, and allow him to meet new people for another season. Johnny is a plumber by trade so in the off season he goes back home for a couple months. To work, fish witch he loves to do, work with his dogs ,and blow his calls to keep on top of his game for the next season. And he never forgets to stay focused on living his dream doing what he loves and is so passionate about. THE OUTDOORS.
Johnny belongs to many organizations such as Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, and others hoping to to help preserve the outdoors for many years to come so he can share it with his kids as his father did with him.
