Riley McLaughlin
Riley McLaughlin is 21 years old and lives in Walla Walla, Washington where he is a correctional officer for the Washington State Penitentiary. Before he could talk it was apparent he was destined to be a waterfowler. When his father would come home with dead ducks, Riley would pull out the bright blue curled feathers from the drake mallards tails and stash them away. While most kids were put to sleep with Disney movies and kids books, Riley was read Field and Stream and shown waterfowl hunting videos. When the day came that he got to join his father in the duck blind there was no doubt that he would follow in his father's foot steps and continue the obsession.
In later years, as he entered high school, his teachers would say, " If he could concentrate on schoolwork as much as his duck call he would be the next Einstein!" Riley is almost never without his calls, He blows his calls all the time getting ready for waterfowl season. Riley is currently a part of camera opperations for Columbia Basin Waterfowl.
Riley is an extreme outdoorsman. He loves archery hunting, fishing, hiking, shed hunting and snowboarding. Riley is a volunteer for Ducks Unlimited and committed to waterfowl conservation. No matter the time of year and no matter what the weather, Riley will spend as much time outdoors as possible. He is an ethical hunter and honored to be part of Zink Calls.
