Travis Lyle
Travis killed his first duck at the age of nine and has been hooked ever since. He currently lives in Fernley, Nevada with his wife Temple and daughter Hunter and works in the food and beverage industry. Travis was born in a small town in Western Nevada where he spent most of his time killing ducks and geese with his father and brother on big open water lakes and small potholes. Today he still hammers those same big lakes and small potholes, shooting everything from mallards to scoters, honkers to brants and everything in between. Travis also hunts big game in the early archery season so he doesn't miss any time during the waterfowl season killing ducks and geese.
Travis always loves to experiment with new decoy spreads. He has no problem moving a spread around in the middle of a hunt to make the birds work right. He has adjusted to the areas river systems and lakes with the time of year and weather to make his hunts a success. During the off season you can find Travis watching waterfowl videos, painting and flocking old decoys, brushing up blinds, scouting new areas, and catching fish for a good beer batter.
Hunting public land all his life has truly tested Travis in becoming the best water fowler he can be. Travis lives and breaths waterfowl 24-7. It's in his blood to stay.
