My name is David Cornet and I live in Canton, Ohio. I was introduced to hunting at the age of 8, and I have been waterfowl hunting since the age of 9. My father and brother, Oliver, who is also a field staffer, introduced me to it and it has since become a full time pursuit for me every fall.
My favorite time of the year to hunt is during the late season, in hopes of chasing giant canadas and mallards in the surrounding corn fields. Another favorite part of waterfowl hunting, is getting to watching our lab, Cammie, make retrieves. My favorite call is a Zink Power Hen 2, in an ivory color. It was the first duck call I ever bought, and it is still on my lanyard today. I also predator hunt and turkey hunt in Ohio. I do most of my waterfowl hunting in the Port Clinton area on Lake Erie.
I am an active member of Ducks Unlimited and participate and volunteer at local DU and Greenwing events along with my brother and waterfowling friend Tim Valentine. I am honored to be part of the Zink Field Staff.
