My name is Adam Campbell and I am 28 years old and this is my first year on the Zink Field Staff . I was born and raised in Kentucky, which has given me the opportunity to utilize the stateÕs vast wildlife diversity. I started going hunting for squirrels with my father at age 5 and finally carried a gun the next year. Some of my fondest memories are from when I was younger was hunting with my dad. I got hooked on waterfowling at the age of 9, when a drake mallard swam into our decoys at a local reservoir. Dad said ÒThis one is yours AdamÓ and one shot later I was a fan for life. After a year of hunting ducks at the local lakes I was ready to try for geese. I was able to travel to Ballard County in Kentucky which has the best hunting in the state. My first goose call was a flute call I got for Christmas and was driving everyone crazy practicing on it, but that practice paid off. I called and turned a flock of CanadaÕs and they locked up into our decoys. I was almost so excited I forgot to shoot, almost .The love and passion for waterfowl and hunting lead me to go to Eastern Kentucky University and graduate with a degree in wildlife management. After college I started working for the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife, working with the elk and deer program.
I enjoy introducing people to hunting be it turkey, goose or squirrel hunting. But my favorite is teaching people how to use calls properly. Over the years, I started to master the art of calling ducks and geese. While some people collect stamps or coins, I collect duck calls. I have probably had 30 different calls on my lanyard; that was until I got introduced to Zink Calls. I recommend Zink Calls to anyone that asks and have finally converted my Dad from his ancient calls to Zink Calls.
From calling to setting up decoys, I have a passion for all aspects of the hunt. I also bring a biological knowledge of waterfowl and other game. I love teaching beginning hunters and introducing kids to the outdoors. IÕm looking forward to working with Zink Calls in the future.
