Scott, 46, resides in Troy, Ohio with his wife of 18 years Amy. They have three children Taylor, Tori and Troy. Scott is President of Designer Awards, Inc. also located in Troy. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, he moved back to Troy and began working at the family business. Soon after moving back, he was reunited with his future wife Amy.

Scott was first introduced to waterfowl hunting by his brother-in-law, and good friend of Fred Zink, Mark Beard. That was 17 years ago and the passion and enthusiasm for waterfowl hunting continues to grow. Waterfowl season is 24/7. Whether it's scouting locations for future hunts, knocking on doors for permission or reading every possible book or magazine pertaining to waterfowl hunting, not to mention the countless hours spent in his 'Hunting Room' practicing his calling with an arsenal of Zink Calls including his PH-2 for local rivers and working close-in Mallards or his PH-2 Double Mag for hunting in larger, open water such as Mitchell's Bay or hookin-up with the Rondeau Bay Shooter Boys also in Canada chasin' Bull Cans. Whether it's solf calling or tree shaking loud calling Zink calls are #1! How 'bout Goose calls? Can't go wrong with a Money Maker and LM-1 combination.

Scott's fondest waterfowl hunting memory was in 2008 when his youngest son, 9 years old, Troy joined Scott in his very first duck hunt during Ohio's Youth Waterfowl Season and shot his first duck.

Scott is a long time DU member having served several years of Miami County Chairman and Co-Chairman along with other positions within the chapter and a member of Delta Waterfowl. He is also a contributing waterfowl writer for the Country Anglin' Outdoor Guide publication.
