My name is Brandon Baker, and I live in North East Ohio. I am 26 years old and work for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Patient Advocate. I take care of all the heroes that have served this country. I spent 6 years in the Army, being deployed to Iraq in November 2004 through January 2006 as a Combat Engineer.
I have been chasing ducks and geese around the whole state of Ohio since I was 10 years old with my Dad Rick, Uncle Sam, Cousins and friends. From hunting big water divers on Lake Erie to wheat stubble honkers, I love it all. When not on the water or chasing geese in the field, I love spending time with family and friends. I owe a lot to my lovely wife Liz and two daughters Caileigh and Anna for the countless hours spent in my basement goose and duck calling. Also for the time spent away chasing ducks and geese on the Ohio River different parts of the year.
My favorite waterfowl hunting consist of calling big Canadian geese into either cut corn or bean stubble fields. There isnŐt anything better than watching a weary flock of geese finally commit to a spread of GHG full body honkers and soon to be Avian X goose decoys. I will be entering my first Goose Open this year and have a lot of faith that my Call of Death will hit all the notes I am trying to hit.
I feel strongly about introducing the youth into the outdoors. I feel that it teaches great discipline and responsibility that can carry a long way through out a lifetime. I feel that Fred Zink has a passion to watch the younger hunters grow and succeed in the outdoors. Fred is always looking for newer and better ways to get the kids involved. I feel honored when I can take a youth or an adult into the field who has never hunted, and watch them become hooked on waterfowl hunting.
Zink calls truly are top of the line and I would recommend them to any other hunter. 24-7.
